Say What Now of the Day: ESPN announced today that it will pull Hank Williams, Jr.’s familiar Monday Night Football theme song after the country music prince compared President Obama to Hitler on this morning’s Fox & Friends.
Williams told hosts Steve Doocy, Gretchen Carlson and Brian Kilmeade that speaker John Boehner’s recent golf game with the President was “one of the biggest political mistakes ever,” likening it to “Hitler playing golf with [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu.”
He then went on to claim Obama and Vice President Biden were “the enemy,” confusingly referring to them as “The Three Stooges.”
“We are extremely disappointed with his comments,” said ESPN in its statement, “and as a result we have decided to pull the open from tonight’s telecast.”
